Each Bar Wizard staff member undergoes a rigorous selection criteria, upholding prior experience with us or at least two years of relevant industry experience, supplemented by Bar Wizard training.

After a decade of working in 10 countries all over the world, including 5-star hotels where he often oversaw over 5 events a day, he arrived in New York in 2018 to assume the Beverage Director role at Bathtub Gin. Over the past five years, he has fused his passion for science and mixology to hone a unique approach to cocktail creation, liquor creation, and sustainable bar management.

David Libespere is an esteemed bartender and entrepreneur who has been a prominent figure in New York's bar scene since 2010, blending the city’s boldness with the finesse of French dining and spirits. After honing his craft at iconic establishments such as the Macao Trading Company and Bathtub Gin, he took on the role of co-owner at 67 Orange, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar in Harlem that he helped propel the bar to national acclaim. In 2021, he launched Bonne Vie Spirits, specializing in importing and distributing premium French spirits and wines. His extensive expertise and deep understanding of high-quality beverages are complemented by his philosophy of infusing each event with the essence of French joie de vivre.
Dave Oz is a Brooklyn-born entrepreneur with a decade of experience working as a CPA for Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. Throughout his career in finance, he spearheaded his own event consulting company and oversaw countless celebrations, charity functions and corporate events. In 2011, Dave left behind his successful career in finance to follow his passion, investing his life savings in the creation of Bathtub Gin. Through a standout concept, daily commitment, and seamless operations, he grew it to become one of the city’s top-grossing high-volume bars, as well as an iconic New York institution with countless nationwide accolades.
